CONTACT DEFENCE BY DESIGN

Dr Cara Wrigley is currently a Professor of Design at the University of Queensland. She was the inaugural Director of the Queensland Defence Science Alliance and was previously the Jericho Chair of Design Innovation at the University of Sydney sponsored by the Royal Australian Air Force. She holds extensive experience in research and commercialisation investigating the strategic role design plays in the creation of disruptive technologies in the military context. Her work has been adopted throughout the Australian Defence Force as a new and innovative way to approach and solve complex and wicked problems. Professor Wrigley continues to lead and lecture on Military Design Thinking within the Australian Defence College. With many books, journal articles and design awards she is a leading global authority in the field of Design and Military Design Thinking.
